Becoming noticeably milder Sunday
Welcome!
Our mission is "to be a church alive with Christ by loving, growing, and declaring the Good News of Jesus Christ".
Here you will find information concerning our church and its ministries. We hope you find your time spent here a blessing. Our church is a warm and loving church, and we want you to feel comfortable and at liberty to call on us for anything you need. Feel free to browse through the various areas of our website and learn about our fellowship.
If you are considering a new place of worship or a relocation to our area, we would love to have you be our guest.
When you visit our church, you will find:
On February 9, 7:00pm, the Trustees will meet on ZOOM.
The Blessing Box next door needs the following for the winter months: NO CANS (THEY FREEZE); bag rice or noodle sides, bag or box potatoes, crackers, peanut butter, jelly (NO GLASS), pasta, box mac & cheese, instant oatmeal, box cereal (small enough to fit in cupboard), granola bars, breakfast bars, cake/brownie/cookie mix in bags/box, frosting, any box meals, pancake mix, box soups, NO BAGGED RICE, DRY BEANS, CREAM CORN, OR MIXED VEGETABLES-THESE DO NOT GO. Thank you in advance for your assistance in filling this need.
Soup & Scripture bible study is every Thursday from 11:30 until 1:00pm. First, we eat and fellowship for roughly 30 minutes and then dive into the Word. Join us so you, too, can grow in your discipleship of Jesus Christ.
Do YOU feel called to help in Worship? We’d love to have you help out in the following positions: Greeter, Candle Bearer, Lector. Please see Pastor Michele or Winnie Sortman if you would like to learn more about these positions.
We would welcome donations of crackers and soup that has at least 7 ounces of protein, like beef vegetable or chunky soups. We send these to the Food Pantry in honor of “Souper Bowl” Sunday, which is Feb 12. They also need pineapple, baked beans, instant mashed potatoes, Knorr’s sides and spaghetti sauce.
Thanks to all who contribute to the bottle bin in the church parking lot. Those bottles and cans that are marked as a five cent returnable in New York, produce an income for various groups in the church, such as the trustees or the youth going to Sky Lake Camp in the summer. Pictured below are bottles that DO NOT have this label. They are recyclable but they are not five cent returnable items. Please do not put them in the bottle bin. Our last trip to the redemption center netted us $144, which was one truck full. Not bad for an hours time, plus travel.
